How does the live chat process work step by step?

  1. When live chat is triggered, agents receive a notification and the chat appears in the Live Chat Inbox.
  2. Agents can review and accept or decline the chat.
  3. If accepted, the chat may be automatically accepted or the customer receives an invitation to chat.
  4. Once accepted, the conversation moves to active chats.
  5. Agents can type or use quick replies to communicate.
  6. When the conversation is complete, the chat is ended and resolution options are available.
